This year’s program will include hands-on labs, a taping relay, and a presentation from our guest speaker & OATA President Elect, Leander Walker. Their goal this year is to bring more awareness to the profession through highlighting both the traditional and non-traditional AT roles as well as providing inclusive demonstrations beneficial to the attendees. Representatives of the three CAATE Athletic Training Programs in Oklahoma will be on-site to answer any questions students may have.
The cost is $15 per student in attendance and is open to all high school or college students that are interested in learning more about the profession of athletic training. Parents are welcome to attend as well but we do ask that they register and pay the $15 fee. Athletic Trainers’ that bring their students are also asked to register but their registration is discounted to $10. All registrations include a lunch. There is also an optional t-shirt that can be purchased for an additional $15.
Note: T-shirt orders will not be accepted after February 15th. Registration after February 16th will not guarantee a meal.
